I have always known this as "Playgroup" Chicken. For me it
got its name from almost the first social gathering I went to in my new home in
Nottinghamshire. The Playgroup, of which my children were active members,
were putting on a fund raising night and each Playgroup Member had to produce 6
portions of "Playgroup Chicken" and also sell at least 4 tickets to
the do! This is really easy to do and my mother enjoyed it many times when
she visited. It can be varied a little by adding chopped peppers and
spices.
