| Ingredients | ||
| The Sponge | 1 tsp | Quick acting yeast |
| 1lb 2oz | Strong White Flour | |
| 1 tbs | Sugar | |
| 1 oz | Butter | |
| 2 tbs | Milk Powder | |
| 1.5 tsp | Salt | |
| 350 ml | Water |
Place all the ingredients in the breadmaker pan in the order above and bake as directed.
Note this recipe is for one large loaf baked in a Panasonic Breadmaker SD 206 but used in other home bakers it has proved very successful.
